About Me Queer Gender-Fluid Social Worker Therapist Training and Background

After completing a Bachelor of Social Work in 1993, I began working in Toronto youth shelters. Over the course of those 10 years I heard many stories from young people of how difficult their school experiences had been, which in turn led me into a 17-year career as a public school teacher.

 

I have now come full circle, graduating from the University of Toronto in 2015 with a Master of Social Work degree. Following this, I completed an intensive 6-year psychodynamic psychotherapy training program at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy in 2021.
